The Secret of WIZARD

The secret of “WIZARD”

A long, long, time ago, when there was still the famous Magician Academy in Stonehenge, the Apprentices had to undergo a long period of rigorous training. One of their many tasks was to master a deck of cards. The cards possessed powers and by proper manipulation of the cards these forces could be controlled.
Alas, over the years, a deeper understanding of the cards was lost. All that remained was an entertaining card game, which was often played by workmen, farmers, and soldiers in local inns.
It was only after the eminent English archaeologist Dr. Henry Eitel dug deeply under the standing stones of Stonehenge and discovered historical parchment scrolls in ancient vaults that the true history and secrets of Wizard again came to light.
The secret was passed from scholar to scholar until in 1983 Ken Fisher became the recipient of the secret. After many years of guarding the secret, Ken, having attained the age of 83 decided it was time to reveal the first of the two steps needed to empower the holder of the Wizard cards. He promised to reveal the final step before departing this world for the next. Herein lies the first of the secrets:
The 4^th letter from the end of the alphabet is …..W
The 9^th letter from the start of the alphabet is……I
The last letter of the alphabet is ………………………..Z
The first letter of the alphabet is ……………………….A
The 9^th letter from the end of the alphabet is       R
The 4^th letter from the start of the alphabet is……D
In the above passage:
Change the word “end” to “start”.
Change the word “start’ to “end”
Change the word “last” to “first”
Change the word “first” to “last”.
Then change the letters that make each sentence correct and don’t be backwards about it.
