Wizard Book of Fame
Today, April 19, 2026 the 26th person has been ensconced in the "Wizad Book of Fame".
Debi Arnoni has earned the honor by becoming the major organizer of live Wizard Tournaments. Debi has promoted a number of live events which provide players the opportunity to establish real-life contacts. Her contrbution to Wizard's ongoing popularity and success cannot be overstated. Players attending the "WAIT" event will be able to view all 26 entries in the "Book of Fame" along with numerous other Wizard memorabilia and artifacts.

WAIT (Wizard Annual Invitational Tournament)
The first WAIT tournament will take place in Welland, Ontario on July 4,2026. This is not an "Open Tournament" as it is restricted to a select group of outstanding players by invitation.
Eleven of the sixteen invited players have represented their countries as qualifying champions at the Wizard World Championship. Consequently the field of players is more accomplished than that at any previous tournament. The field will include Mario Phenix, the defending 2025 Champion.
Players are travelling considerable distances to play in this monumental event. Only 6 are from Ontario. Others will come from Quebec, the USA and Europe. Ken Fisher, the creator of "Wizard" will be in attendance along with his wife Joan. The President of "U.S. Games Systems" Ricardo Cruz will be in attendance as well as a rep.from "Amigo" Germany. Carles Rodon will organize and manage the game play. A celebratory dinner with presentations will follow the tournament.The 2026 tournament is intended to be the first WIZARD ANNUAL INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT.
