WAIT
Dear Ken, Joan, Carles, Tim, and the entire Wizard community,
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for such a wonderful Wizard gathering in Welland.
What makes these events truly special is not only the game itself, but the incredible atmosphere created when people from around the world come together around a shared passion. Each tournament feels less like a competition and more like a reunion—where new friendships are formed, old ones are strengthened, and everyone leaves with memories that last far beyond the final table.
A sincere thank you to Ken and Joan for your warm hospitality and for continuing to build a legacy that brings so much joy into so many lives. Your creativity and commitment to growing the Wizard community are truly inspiring.
Special appreciation as well to Carles and Tim for your outstanding work in organizing and communicating every detail so smoothly. Events like this simply would not be possible without your dedication behind the scenes.
Congratulations to all players, and especially to those who reached the final table and performed so well throughout the tournament. Carles’ remarkable achievement across his games is truly impressive and a testament to the high level of play that makes these gatherings so exciting.
To everyone who traveled from overseas, thank you for making the journey. Your presence adds something truly special and reminds us that Wizard is a global family, connected not just by cards, but by genuine friendship.
There is something almost magical about sitting at a table surrounded by people who share the same passion, knowing that every tournament adds another chapter to our personal journeys. Wizard is more than a game—it has become part of the story of our lives, filled with meaningful connections and unforgettable moments.
It was a pleasure to see many familiar faces again, to meet new friends, and to share such a warm weekend together. I look forward to seeing many of you again soon in Ottawa, and of course online between events.
With sincere gratitude and friendship,
Mario and France
